Cultural Connections - linking schools
'Cultural Connections' presents an intercultural arts project linking the Centre for Research in Arts Education (CRAE) at Bath Spa University(BSU),
The Grange School & Sports College, Warmley, near Bristol, and the IB School, Rohtak, India. The project involved an intercultural exchange visit
between UK and India with follow-up curriculum activities for year 9 students at the Grange College including performances and arts workshops led
by Centre Ocean Stream Kathakali and trainee teachers from BSU. 'Cultural Connections' addresses global dimension and citizenship issues through
the arts, enriching participants' understanding and awareness of symbolism and meaning within an Indian cultural context.
