Publications
START
START is an exciting and stimulating magazine for teachers of pre-school and primary art, craft
and design first published in 2003. Published quarterly, START is full of ideas and resources
intended to support classroom practice - no nursery or primary school teacher should be without it!
START subscribers have full access to this web site, including on-line access to the archive of back numbers of START, the
International Journal of Art & Design Education and over two hundred
Units of Work.
To encourage subscriptions to the magazine the START archive consists
of all issues from Issue 1, but excluding those published in the past two years. Back numbers will be added
to the archive on a regular basis while maintaining this two year gap.
Current subscribers to START and members of the NSEAD can access all these back numbers of the magazine.
Users with temporary website membership only will be able to view just the last three issues uploaded, whilst
general users will only have access to the last one..
A year's subscription to START, with each of four issues containing 28 full colour A4 pages plus a
two sided A2 visual resources insert and full access to all the resources on the NSEAD website, costs just £30 per year.
For further information and for details of how to subscribe you can either subscribe online,
or, complete the Subscription Form (this is a PDF file).
