A one-day online conference exploring innovative teaching methods, interdisciplinary practices, and how artist-teachers can push the boundaries of traditional adult community learning.

Sub-themes:

Interdisciplinary Practice:
Exploring how artist-teachers integrate their artist and teacher identities with other identities, in the classroom, studio and beyond.

Innovative Teaching:
Focusing on experimental and innovative pedagogies, such as flipped classrooms, project-based learning, and immersive environments, that push the limits of traditional adult education.

Digital Transformation:
Examining the role of digital tools and online platforms in transforming art education, including virtual workshops, digital collaboration, and online exhibitions.

Community-Driven Practices:
Discussing how artist-teachers can empower adult learners to create art that engages local communities, drives social change, and fosters a sense of belonging.

Building Confidence:
Reflecting on how the artist-teacher builds confidence across different contexts.... 
 

This conference welcomes contributions from artist-teachers working in adult and community learning spaces, at all stages of their careers. The conference accepts contributions in several forms including, but not limited to paper presentations, poster presentations, workshops, and arts-based research.
