HENI Talks is new free online resource dedicated to sharing insights about art history from leading artists, curators and academics on film.
The aim of the resource is to open up art to a wider public, and create a platform through which everyone can learn about art history, and can discuss, comment, enjoy and engage with it.
Films are listed by title and by speaker. They are carefully researched and informative. Some of the films provide powerful descriptions of the subjects, times and people in focus. They position art, craft and design across different times and locations and in a range of historical and cultural contexts.
Footage is wide-ranging and the speakers, who include artists curators, museum directors and cultural historians, to name a few, have very accessible but in-depth knowledge on their selected area.
